Obedience | An Ordinary Tuesday
Learning to Live Faithfully in the Ordinary Moments of Life
What does obedience to God look like on an ordinary Tuesday?
We often associate obedience with extraordinary moments in Scripture—when God called someone to leave everything behind, step into the unknown, or accomplish something seemingly impossible.
But what about the ordinary moments of our lives?
What if obedience is less about waiting for God to give us something extraordinary to do and more about faithfully responding to what He has already told us to do?
In this opening episode of our November study on OBEDIENCE, we explore how God's Word shapes our thoughts, our words, our actions, and eventually the story of our lives.
Through Scripture, we'll examine five foundational commands for Christian living: loving God, loving others, walking by the Spirit, becoming doers of the Word, and praying continually with thanksgiving.
Because a life of obedience isn't built only in extraordinary moments. It's shaped through the ordinary, everyday decisions to follow Jesus.
Scripture Focus: Matthew 22:37–40; 1 John 2:3–6; James 1:22–25; Galatians 5:16–25.
To be known. To notice. To become.
